More sympathy cards

Yet again more sympathy cards. It seems that these are the only type of card that I have made this year. These were made for the family of my husband's Aunt. That's three family members to die this year and one family friend. I think it is now time to move on to joyful family events, right? I guess all these funerals also are hard because they are a sign of my aging. Not many like to face that prospect even though we all know intellectually that it is inevitable unless you are the one sympathy cards are being made for. When you look at it that way I guess getting older is not so bad after all.

It is so hard to lose friends and family. I am finding I am also losing them more often due to my own age (52). The ones with their faith I will get to see again in heaven, thank the Lord - it is hardest to lose unsaved family and friends...

Making special cards like these is such an outlet for our own feelings though, isn't it? We get to do one last wonderfully special thing for our loved ones and also for those they loved. Bless you, Suzanne.
