Here is another card I am working on. It is a mock up of a design I am thinking of using for one of my convention swaps. The "Thinking About U" set has been around for a while with SU, but they retired so many sets it's one of the few I have that I can use for swaps. I'm not sure about the blue behind the U. I may change that to more Bravo Burgundy CS. What do you think. I'm not sure about the "kiss" technique I used on the U either. It is done with Old Olive craft ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. It's very time consuming doing the "kissing"! I think I will try it just using the U stamp and still embossing to see what it looks like.

Thanks for our comment on my Blog, Suzanne - I have been pretty quiet lately too. It was great to catch up on your news here. National Scrap booking Day is this weekend over here, and I had planned to go to a workshop, but am home with a contagious cold and asthma at the moment so don't think I'll be getting to the workshop :-(

I love your scrap booked pages! I'm glad there was nothing wrong with the content of the page on Jamaica. It didn't look offensive to me!

The 'Round the World' card is a great idea - will look forward to seeing it when it is completed.

Wow - wish I could come to your yard sale! It's funny about 'retired' stamps. I had a set from 1994 that no one had used (it was purchased at a garage sale) and it wound up being a set that returned in new SU! catalogue for this season. It was the 'Just a Note' set and it is such a lovely little set. You just never know what will happen, do you?

The U card is lovely from where I sit. If you do change it, make sure to post the changes, OK? I have never tried the 'kissing' technique so maybe I will sometime soon after seeing your card.

Will also have to think about how to sell some cards to fund my own stamping habit! I did sell two - to my mother and sister - they ordered their cards for an 80th birthday party they were going to and I didn't want to charge them, but they insisted (you know how relatives can be).

ANyway, bye for now - will pop back in again one day soon :-)
