MY FIRST BELLA!
My first Bella card. And my only Bella stamp. It's Huggabella! I still have lots of work to do on my coloring but slowly I am learning. I think part of my problem is I get to much color and try to be too realistic. I also learned too late that one should not color in Bella's mouth. It made them look like clowns. I worked with my watercolor brush to remove the color and did so with a limited amount of success. I received the encouragement today to be ready and willing when learning to color images to throw away learning projects. I maybe should have thrown this one away, but it was my first Bella and I just couldn't.
This is also my first card with a Cuttlebug embossed background. Now that I could do with little problem. Actually other than the watercoloring I like this card.

That is just too cute! I need to get me some bellas. :0)
Oh goodness Suzanne!! I think this card is precious!! I love the watercoloring.....it gives the card a soft feeling!! Cute layout and isn't the CB fun??!! I have no Bellas yet........I'm just too addicted to House Mouse at the moment!!! Besides......I absolutely need a ChubbyBella.....I never looked that skinny even in a Fun House mirror!!!
How can I possibly post a followup after Lee's ChubbyBella remark?!?! I'm crackin' up here, girl! Let's design our own set of stamps.....
Suzanne your card is adorable! I think your coloring looks great - I need serious help when it comes to that. Enjoy that CB - I'm glad one now lives in your space!
Ha ha! I love your card, Suzanne, and I love reading these comments from you girls!! Chubbybella indeed!! I sure need one of those. The only Bella stamp I have is the recent 'Tis the Season' one and I just used the embellishment stamps from it over Christmas (not the Bella!) Will have to try out a Bella card and see how the colouring goes - I do like yours, Suzanne. Thanks fro the tip about not colouring her mouth.
Will be away travelling for a week or so and will look forward to catching up with you all on my return. Take care meantime :-)
What a GREAT card! I am loving the things I see done with bellas- cannot wait to start putting mine to use.
Super super cute. I love the Bella's!!!
